Relevant work experience

At A.T. Kearney, an international managment consulting firm, in the 1990s, Debra pioneered knowledge managment strategy, process, roles and technology to assist consulting practices in the use and generation of intellectual capital. Most recently at Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate management and investment firm, she played a key leadership role, orchestrating the global migration and integration from three different, regional intranets to an XML platform. Debra also initiated knowledge management in key business units and communities of practice.

As a senior executive, Debra has built expert teams, negotiated global contracts with content providers and IT vendors, and directed multi-million dollar budgets. She volunteers at several nonprofit organizations as committee member, chair, director of the board and treasurer, and once served as interim executive director.
